There were seven American Indian students enrolled in Accomack County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 40% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Accomack County Public Schools District welcomed 4,726 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.

Accomack County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Accomack County and has a main office in Accomac.

Among the 11 schools in Accomack County Public Schools District, Nandua High School and Chincoteague High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year.
