Accomack County recently issued the following announcement.
These is the picture of the bikes donated by the Parksley and Saxis Firehouses, Cooper & Humbles, Onancock Building Supply, Mary N. Smith Alumni, Ashley Pettit Inc., and Michael Allen, in honor of his father, Mr. William Allen, past director of Accomack County Parks & Recreation who initiated the bike giveaway for needy children.
Many thanks and appreciation for all who helped make the program a success.
The Accomack County Library donated books and reading materials and the Accomack County Extension Office donated safety helmets for all the children.
