Accomack County recently issued the following announcement.

You are invited to one of four community engagement meetings taking place on October 19 and 20, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The purpose of these meetings is to encourage public input on the Accomack-Northampton Housing Needs Assessment. Each meeting will cover the same information; just choose the most convenient date and location for you. • Local employment
• Rental availability
• Community infrastructure
• Land use issues
• Property upkeep

The A-NPDC also invites residents and landlords to complete a brief housing survey.
