Tomorrow — Telephone Town Hall!

Meeting372

Issued the following announcement on July 14

Dear Franklin,

I am writing to let you know that our next Seventh District-focused telephone town hall is tomorrow, Thursday, July 15 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please join me to discuss the major challenges and opportunities facing Central Virginia families, small businesses, and communities during Virginia’s economic recovery — and what I'm doing on Capitol Hill to help.

I will also be sharing information about the new, enhanced Child Tax Credit, which I voted to pass as part of the American Rescue Plan in March of this year. Beginning tomorrow (Thursday), Virginia families claiming the Child Tax Credit for 2021 will receive monthly payments of up to $300 per qualifying child under the age of 6 and $250 per qualifying child between ages 6 and 17. I look forward to sharing more about the enhanced Child Tax Credit and the assistance it promises to provide to Central Virginia parents and children at tomorrow's event, as well as answering any questions you may have.

To listen live or ask a question, please call in to the event at (833) 380-0670.

To watch the conversation live or submit a question online, you can go to spanberger.house.gov/live or also watch live on my Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, thousands of Central Virginians have been able to join these interactive events to share their feedback about the challenges facing their families, their businesses, and their communities, and tomorrow’s virtual town hall will be another opportunity to directly provide ideas for how we can work together to address these challenges.

Your feedback informs my work in Congress, so I hope to hear about the issues that are most important to you. I hope you'll be able to join us.
