There was a single gas station in cities across Accomack County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.99 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 17, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of premium gas in cities within Accomack County was $4.12 per gallon.

Of the 11 gas stations in cities within Accomack County, two offer premium gas.

The average price of premium gas in Virginia was $4.02, compared to $3.87 the week before.

Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
