Bill Downey’s Upcoming Transition to Executive Vice Chairman and Special Advisor for Riverside
In early September, the Board of Directors for Riverside Health System shared that Michael J. Dacey, MD, current Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of RHS, will become the new CEO and President of Riverside Health System effective January 1, 2023. Dr. Dacey will be replacing longtime CEO Bill Downey, who will transition into the role of Executive Vice Chairman and Special Advisor for Riverside until his retirement in 2024.
As we approach the end of 2022 and the transition to a new CEO at Riverside, we wanted to share more details about Bill Downey’s new role as Executive Vice Chairman of the Riverside Healthcare Association Board and Special Advisor to the Board.
