Tales 4 Tots on November 10

Chincoteague Island Library Announces the Return of Tales 4 Tots

The Chincoteague Island Library is excited to announce the fall session of the Tales 4 Tots program!  The first of the fall sessions started on September 15 and will continue every Thursday at 10:00 AM through December 15.  Tales 4 Tots is a program for children up to the age of 5.  There will be stories, stretching, singing, a take home craft, and a snack.  The program is being held at Brianna’s Kindness Park at the corner of School and Smith Street.  In the event of inclement weather and once it becomes too cold to meet outside, Tales 4 Tots will move to the library.

According to Chincoteague Island Library Board Member, Diane Fisher, “We look forward to seeing the children again! This program instills a love of reading, encourages social interactions, develops imagination, and promotes physical activity. The children have a good time and so do we!”

Tales 4 Tots is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Special thanks to the Library volunteers, donors, and the community for their support of the library programs.

The Chincoteague Island Library is located at 4077 Main St., Chincoteague.  For more information and program updates, call the library at 757-336-3460, visit the Chincoteague Island Library website or visit the Chincoteague Island Library on Facebook.
