Riverside Health System is pleased to announce that the Riverside Cancer Care Network has received national accreditation as an Integrated Network Cancer Program from the Commission on Cancer (COC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). To earn COC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 COC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.
“We are honored to receive this accreditation from the American College of Surgeons,” says Dr. Aaron Chevinsky, Oncology Service Line Chief and Medical Director for the Riverside Cancer Care Network. “This accreditation is symbolic of the hard work and dedication from team members across the Riverside Cancer Care Network.”
