New Annual Event Debuts in Exmore on 9/24: The Exmore Fall Festival

New Annual Event Debuts in Exmore on 9/24: The Exmore Fall Festival

On Saturday, September 24 from 9 am onward, the streets of downtown Exmore will be vibrant with art, handicrafts, food, music, and people, as the First Annual Exmore Fall Festival gets underway, launching a new signature event for the Town.

Already, over 50 exhibitors have signed on with more anticipated. Categories of exhibits so far include artists in every genre, quilters, glass workers, bakers, farmers, candlemakers, community organizations and several Exmore businesses owners. A Classic Car Show is planned, and antique farm equipment will be on display, courtesy of the Peninsula Tractor Organization. Of special interest, the Town has engaged the H.M. Johnson Band for a free, live concert.

It's shaping up to be a fun-filled day and that's a positive for vendors as well as for attendees. This inaugural festival is deigned to set the stage for a series of regular monthly or bi-monthly happenings planned for 2023 beginning in early spring. By drawing more people downtown, events such as the Fall Festival boost awareness of the unique amenities that exist in the heart of our community, most especially our shops and restaurants.

Since its founding, Exmore has been a hub of entrepreneurship, production and commerce. Plan to join us in celebrating this heritage---and building on it. It's all FREE and Family-Friendly. Save the date!
