Join the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team for Tuesday Mornings with the Ponies!
For kids 6 to 16 that want to spend time with, learn about, and take a riding lesson on a Chincoteague pony.
At Kerkaken Acres, home of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team, 14086 Winterville Rd. Bloxom VA 23308 (about ½ hour south of Chincoteague)
Tuesday mornings from 9 to Noon, pre registration required. Limit 5 people per Tuesday.
Horse enthusiasts will get a chance to meet our famous Chincoteague ponies, including descendants of Misty, groom them, clean out a hoof, learn about care of a horse, and get a riding lesson on one of our ponies.
Cost of the morning is $100, no refunds. For beginner to intermediate riders who love Chincoteague ponies.
