BOYS HOME HARVEST HUSTLE 5K, 10K, AND HALF-MARATHON

Boys Home of Virginia is excited to host our 5th Annual Boys Home Harvest Hustle 5K, 10K, and half-marathon! Each year this event has grown bigger and better! This year Boys Home is ready to celebrate the Harvest Hustle’s 5th anniversary with the best event yet!
RACE DESCRIPTION
All races start and end at the Intervale Trailhead of the Jackson River Scenic Trail, in Covington, VA. The USATF-certified course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat, with some small hills. The course follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, winding along the Jackson River through the scenic Alleghany Highlands. You are welcome to run or walk at your own pace; please be aware that aid stations will close at noon.
Proceeds from the race will benefit Boys Home of Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, housing, and basic living expenses for young men whose lives have been negatively impacted by poverty or family instability.
