Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Duck Carving Class

Join the Museum of Chincoteague Island for a 2-day duck carving class on October 22-23 from 8am-5pm both days.
Under the guidance of Russell Fish, local and renowned decoy carver, you will carve, paint, and finish a Ruddy Duck decoy of your very own.
If you have been curious about the time and talent that goes into decoy carving and painting, this is the class for you!
Cost: $110 per person includes all tools and materials. Ages 14 and up only.
Class is limited to 15 participants, so sign up quickly.
Pre-registration required by October 15.
Participants are required to sign a safety waiver.
