Chincoteague Museum recently issued the following announcement.
Our popular Tuesday Night Lecture Series is returning this summer! Beginning June 1, each Tuesday this summer at 7:00 P.M., you can come learn about a variety of topics presented by a variety of lecturers who know the subject. We will kick off the series on June 1 with a high flying, well, low flying adventure, as Museum of Chincoteague Island Executive Director, Bryce VanStavern tells us all about the E-2 Hawkeye. We’ve all seen them, we’ve all heard them, what in the world is the E-2 Hawkeye and what are the doing flying around Chincoteague Island.
Then on June 8, Chincoteague artist Nancy West will offer a demo on painting from taxidermy. Stay tuned here for a list of future Tuesday Evening Lectures and hope we’ll see you there.
