Cap & Gown Pictures, Class of 2022 Picture, Senior Award Ceremony, Graduation Practice, and Graduation

Senior Reminder List:

Senior Make-Up Pictures and Cap / Gown and Group Pictures:

  1. Group cap and gown pictures will be Monday, May 16th during 1st block.  Be sure and press your graduation robe (gown).  
  2. Young men should wear white dress shirts, dark ties, and dark dress pants with black shoes.  
  3. Young ladies should wear black shoes.  No flip flops or sneakers are to be worn.  Dark dress pants, a skirt or a dress is acceptable, with no collar.  The skirt or dress should not hang below the gown, color does not matter.

Senior Award Ceremony

  1. Your senior award ceremony will be held on Monday May 23rd, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the auditorium.   We will start promptly at 6:00 PM.
  2. Please inform Mr. Brackins or Mrs. Lines of any awards and / or all awards or scholarships you receive.  The counselors need this information in order to be included in the ceremony.
  3. There will be light refreshments after the ceremony

Graduation Practice Tuesday May 31st, 2022

  1. Graduation practice will be held on Tuesday, May 31st from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  Tickets WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT until all debts have been paid AND graduation practice is OVER.  WE ARE NOT FLEXIBLE ON THIS DETAIL.  If you have an after school job, make arrangements in advance.  Please be prompt. 
  2. Reminder: All debts must be paid BEFORE you receive your tickets.

Graduation Ceremony Wednesday June 1st, 2022

  1. Each graduate gets a total of 6 tickets.
    1. 4 tickets for the bleachers and 2 for the floor/chairs
    2. Honor graduates get 2 tickets for special seating on the floor (not 2 additional tickets)
  2. EVERYONE needs a ticket to be admitted!! This includes school age children.  Please inform all family and friends of this rule. 
  3. NO children under the age of 5 will be admitted.
  4. Graduates must be here by 5:00 PM and report to the appropriate rooms.  The classrooms will be marked alphabetically. 
  5. Doors open for admission at 5:30 PM
  6. Graduation begins promptly at 6:00 PM.
  7. If special accommodations are needed for guests in wheelchairs or for any guest with other special needs, please inform Mrs. Rouse at graduation practice on May 31st.  Remember everyone must have a ticket.
  8. SENIOR must remember to bring their cap, gown and tassel.
  9. Tassels are on the left and then are moved to the right when indicated during the ceremony.
  10. NO helium balloons, horns, noise makers will be allowed in the gymnasium.  Anything that would be a distraction during the ceremony will not be allowed.
  11. Dress appropriately.  Everyone should wear black shoes.  No flip flops or sneakers are to be worn. Young men should wear white dress shirts and tie and dark dress pants.  Young women  should wear dark dress pants or skirt or a dress (no collars).  The skirts or dress should not show below the gown hemline. 
  12. After the graduation ceremony is over, please do not stop in the commons area but instead report to the classrooms to pick up your diploma.  The classrooms are marked alphabetically.
