Riverside Health System announces the addition of Ines Stromberg, M.D., to its growing team of specialists and general urologists. Board-certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Stromberg joins Riverside Urology Specialists after serving 11 years as an active-duty Navy physician.
Dr. Stromberg earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed a general surgery internship at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland, and Urology residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She holds particular interest in robotic and microscopic surgery and is focused on making use of these technologies and the latest medical advances to address the needs of individual patients and their families.
“The addition of Dr. Stromberg to our care team will greatly benefit those in our community who have either common or complex urologic health issues,” says Esther Desimini, President at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. “We are thrilled to add such a highly qualified physician to our team of specialists.”
Dr. Stromberg will provide personalized patient care in the diagnosis, treatment and management of both male and female urinary tract conditions including screening, diagnostic evaluation, in-clinic procedures, and surgery when necessary.
