Riverside achieved Level 8 certification, using technology to drive further improvements in outcomes, care quality, and patient experience

For the 18th consecutive year, Riverside was awarded the 2022 Digital Health Most Wired recognition from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). This year, Riverside was recognized as a certified level 8. The annual survey assesses how effectively health care organizations apply core and advanced technologies to their clinical and business programs. These advanced technologies increase provider capabilities and patient access while improving the quality of life for our patients and communities.

“We are proud to honor your team’s exceptional dedication to excellence in digital health,” said CHIME President and CEO Russell P. Branzell. “Your pioneering performance in the industry inspires other organizations by example. Patients in communities around the world receive better care when you drive change through digital transformation, as you have proven through your success in this rigorous program.”

Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, Riverside ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration, and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.

“We are honored to once again receive CHIME’s Most Wired Recognition at the Quality Award level,” said Ross Younger, M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Riverside Health System. “This year’s award reflects Riverside’s ongoing focus on integration to enhance relationships through seamless coordination of service, care, communication, and technologies. We continue to look for strategic ways to leverage technology that both delivers innovative solutions and offers advanced data visualization and analytics that improve the health and outcomes of our patients and the efficiency of our caregivers.”

The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for health care organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired survey reflects the progress of leading health care organizations like Riverside as they continue to evolve.
