Town of Keller issued the following announcement on Aug. 16

Dallas-Fort Worth based Realty Capital Management and national multi-family development company, Greystar, broke ground last month on a 38-acre mixed-use development, called Keller Center Stage, located at the intersection of Highway 377 and Mount Gilead Road.

The first phase of construction will include 24,000 square feet of commercial space, Greystar’s The Lyric at Keller Center Stage multi-family community, and a community lawn that will provide a venue for live music events.

“The mixture of restaurants, shops, and offices that surround a programmed amenity space open to the public is what will really activate Keller Center Stage and create a place for the community of Keller to enjoy and gather,” said AJ Glass, Development Partner with Realty Capital. “We are in conversations with restauranteurs, a coffee shop, a spa/salon owner, and numerous other retail service providers who are all extremely enthusiastic about the project and cannot wait to bring more variety to the City of Keller.”

The community lawn and the commercial buildings are expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2022.

Greystar’s multi-family community, The Lyric at Keller Center Stage, broke ground in May 2021 and will have connectivity to a hike and bike trail system, a nearly two-acre water feature, and numerous resident amenities such as a resort-style pool, outdoor barbeque areas, and a state-of-the-art gym.

“The Lyric at Keller Center Stage is intended to provide a neighborhood mixed-use community for nearby residents to easily come walk, shop, dine, and be entertained,” said JR Thulin, Senior Director of Development for Greystar. “Providing a great quality of life at The Lyric at Keller Center Stage for new and existing Keller residents is our ultimate goal.”

The first building at The Lyric at Keller Center Stage will be move-in ready by the fourth quarter of 2022 with the entire community being complete by the third quarter of 2023.

Near the corner of Mount Gilead Road and Highway 377, a 10,000 square-foot professional office building is planned as part of the project. The office building will provide additional daytime customers to the restaurant and retail service businesses as well as offer overflow parking in the evenings for the bustling restaurants and Center Stage entertainment amenity.

When fully built-out, Keller Center Stage will consist of nearly 60,000 square feet of shops, offices, and restaurant space, as well as 57 single-family homes ranging from 2,200 to 2,800 square feet, and 475 multi-family residences.
