MOUNTAIN MAGIC FESTIVAL “FALL IN OUR TOWN”

Covington Parks & Recreation would like to invite everyone to join us for some great fall fun! Our Mountain Magic Festival “Fall in Our Town” & Pumpkins in the Park Events are going to be packed with tons of fun for kids and adults. For the Kids beginning at 2:00 p.m., they will be able to walk through our pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin of their choosing and decorate it with a couple of different options of pumpkin décor. The age group for that will be ages 2-12.There will also be Trunk-Or-Treat which will be sponsored by Kars Unlimited. Then a Chili Cook-Off and Apple Baking Contest at 5:30 will take place, please make sure you register with the Recreation Department at (540) 965-6360 if you want to participate. The Sean Elliot Band will then take the stage from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. An addition this year will be the Kiwanis Club of the Jackson River Area will host a Rubber Ducky Drop at 4:45. Make sure you stick around beginning at 6:00 p.m. we will announce the winners of the contests. Don’t miss out on what’s going to be a great fall event!
