Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism issued the following announcement on Jan. 13

The second Give Local Alleghany Highlands will be taking place on June 7th, 2022! Give Local Alleghany Highlands is an online 24-hour fundraising event that raised over $175,000 for local nonprofits last year.  This event is open to all nonprofits with programs that serve the populations of Covington and Alleghany County, and there is no registration fee.
