FIRE DEPARTMENT PLANS LIVE BURN TRAINING
The Fire Department will be conducting live burn training in the 100-block of Johnson Street, starting on Thursday, March 9. There will be more training days in the future over the months of March and April.
With this training, there will be an increased amount of smoke in the area as well as heavy fire department presence.
These events provide a valuable training opportunity for firefighters to better prepare for real world fire emergencies. The department appreciates the patience of citizens in allowing the training.
