Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

50TH ANNUAL FALL FOLIAGE FESTIVAL

October 15 – October 17

Downtown Clifton Forge will once again be the setting for the Shriners Fall Foliage Festival beginning Friday, October 15th and continuing through to Sunday, the 17th.  The Clifton Forge Shrine Club will be hosting this event for the 50th year!  The kickoff will be held at the Primis Bank plaza at noon on Friday.  Vendors and crafters will fill the streets and Elks Lodge Building as always.  The beautiful Alleghany Highlands will be a backdrop for this event.  Holding to tradition, the much awaited Gospel Sing will be at the Historic Masonic Theatre on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm.  Much more is in store for the weekend.  We will keep you informed as more details become available.
